On 20th July 2001 the Carabinieri [the military police] and the police forces in general carry out a series of raids on the crowds in Genoa which culminate in the violent attack on the 15,000 demonstrators in via Tolemaide who are part of a march authorised by the city prefect, leaving them without any escape routes. This fact is the cause of what happened in piazza Alimonda and of Carlo Giuliani's death. We want a number of answers:

-	Can trained officers, albeit in a state of panic, shoot a young man in the face at a distance of four metres, run him over twice with a jeep and leave in about seven seconds?
-	Can a rubbish bin block a Defender jeep?
-	Why did the policemen who were only a few yards away only intervene when Carlo had already been shot?
-	Was the fire extinguisher a weapon or a shield?
-	Why was the pistol still aimed at the crowd after the alleged danger to the officers had ceased to exist?
-	Why was the first shot not fired into the air?
-	Why did the empty bullet cases and the pistols only appear six months after Carlo's death?
